Exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and balance can help manage symptoms and prevent falls.

Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS):

Applying electrical stimulation to nerve endings can help reduce pain and improve nerve function.

Lifestyle modifications:

Managing blood sugar levels (for diabetic neuropathy), maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding alcohol and tobacco, and protecting extremities from injury can help slow the progression of neuropathy.
